John Dobbin

John DobbinManaging Director

Within his role as Managing Director, John has many responsibilities such as the day to day running of the business. His roles include overseeing all our construction projects, managing a good working relationship with our clients, conducting meetings with the site and office team, forming a line of communication between the client, customer and building team. John’s commitment to the role has ensured that DB Building Contracts have continually grown over the years, while maintaining an extremely high standard of work.

Hugh Dobbin

Hugh DobbinDirector

Hugh's role within the company is very much hands on. He oversees a number of projects giving our Site Managers the support they require. Hugh will make regular site visits to ensure all site operations are running smoothly, while helping maintain our high standard of workmanship. Thanks to Hugh's work ethic DB Building Contacts continue to grow and maintain a high standard within all our projects.

Sharon Dobbin

Sharon DobbinDirector

Sharon has many different roles within our company. Her main role involves overseeing all financial aspects of the business and is responsible for maintaining financial stability. Sharon supervises the day to day running of accounts and administration within the company. Thanks to Sharon's financial experience DB Building Contracts have continued their growing success.

Sean Dobbin

Sean DobbinQuantity Surveyor

Sean has worked with our company carrying out various roles from a young age showing great enthusiasm for the family business. His role as a Quantity Surveyor came into effect in 2010 when Sean worked between University and DB Building Contracts. After graduating as a Quantity Surveyor from Jordanstown University in 2014 he joined our team full time. Sean has shown enormous passion in helping us grow as a company.

Clifford Hartin

Clifford HartinQuantity Surveyor

Clifford started with DB Building Contracts in November 2006 as a Quantity Surveyor. With an impressive background of experience from previous employment, Clifford has become an important part of our success. Having previously worked for both the client and the builder on many projects, his experience is invaluable to our company.

Benny Marron

Benny MarronQuantity Surveyor

Benny joined our company in the summer of 2013 to form the final piece of the Quantity Surveying team after completing his degree at the University of Ulster Jordanstown. Having previously worked with Patton Construction during placement, he gained valuable experience on major projects all over the UK and Ireland.

Fergus Hughes

Fergus HughesContracts Manager

Fergus has been part of our company since May 2006. He started his career with DB Building Contracts as a site manager before progressing to become a Contracts Manager. Within his role he is responsible for overseeing a large number of projects, ensuring that all deadlines are met while maintaining a high standard of workmanship. Fergus regularly attends meetings with many of our clients to help form a communication line between client, customer and site.

Orlagh Dobbin

Orlagh DobbinMaintenance Co-Ordinator

Orlagh has been with DB Building Contracts since January 2014. Her main role within the company is dealing with any defects. At DB Building Contracts we pride ourselves on client satisfaction and Orlagh has a very committed attitude to this role and continually strives to ensure all defects are completed as efficiently as possible.

Orla Casey

Orla CaseyAccounts Department

Orla has been with us since May, 2008 when she came on board to form an important part of the team. Her main duties would include dealing with all aspects of administration, working closely with our suppliers, clearing invoices, placing orders and generally keeping things running smoothly.

Donna Casey

Donna CaseyAccounts/ Administration

Donna joined in February 2010 and very quickly became an integral part of our company. Donna is involved in many aspects of the business, in particular general administration, clearing supplier’s invoices, applying for utilities for each of our sites, looking after sub-contractors health & safety and their insurances.

Kirsty Boyd

Kirsty BoydAccounts/ Administration

Kirsty has worked with us since the summer of 2012 coming on board to help with the ever-growing workload in the office. Having done so, Kirsty is involved in all aspects of administration, dealing with suppliers and clearing invoices.
